DISCLOSURES REGARDING REPORTING OWNER TO OWNER ISSUES
In addition and/or as a supplement to the Governing Documents of the Association, the following disclosures may apply to your situation:
A neighbor to neighbor dispute may include, but is not limited to:
• Any disagreement related to the community
• Noise
• Odors
• Parking in someone’s parking space
• A maintenance issue only involving two units
Please further note:
1. In the event you feel that a crime has occurred, you should contact the police immediately, prior to contacting the Association in writing.
2. Management, staff and board members cannot speak to you verbally about any incident, all correspondence must be in writing to properly document the issue.
3. All incident reports will be reviewed by the Board at the next Board Meeting which exceeds 1 week following the submittal of the incident report. You will not receive a response to your issue until it has been reviewed at a meeting.
4. You may be asked to provide the following proof of your complaint prior to any action being considered, please have this proof prepared in advance of the submission of this form:
a. Collect 30 days of documented evidence (photos, videos, audio, etc). {Please follow all laws in regards to the use of recording devices}
b. Contact the police, have a police report filed.
c. Initiate a mediation between yourself and the other owner using a professional mediation service. Even if the other owner does not accept mediation, you should attempt to initiate it so that you have a case against them. We recommend this service: https://www.cai-glac.org/details.php?id=254
